🔑 KEY CONCEPTS:
➡️ Establish a strong combat base 💪🏽
➡️ Make sure you step in far enough to smash opponents knee to their chest
➡️ Maintain strong grip on collar & pant grip
➡️ Make sure to kick your leg back far enough to clear leg/hook 🦿🪝
➡️ Keep grips after you pass ✅
➡️ Close distance w/ your knee, shoulder, or chest
➡️ If you fail to get grips transition to long step pass 🚀

This is one of my favorite takedowns of all time. I believe that if you can develop & master the penetration step & double leg, you will have a very solid foundation & so many other doors will open for you. Shooting a double leg is one of my top ways of getting close & putting my hands on my opponent. Once you develop a very strong shot then you can chain in many other types of take downs.
